Backing up your system.

This chapter gives some guidelines on what to backup and how frequently. Depending on the number of designs you do, increase or decrease the frequency.

References will be made to the default locations for ArtiCAD installation and files. Substitute your locations where appropriate.

How you actually backup your files is up to you. It can be as simple as copying the folder(s) to an external hard disk or USB flash drive, backing up to a DVD-R or over a network, or use of commercially available backup software.

The main ArtiCAD folder.

C:\articad\

The main ArtiCAD folder contains everything needed to run ArtiCAD - the ArtiCAD program along with any manufacturer graphics you have installed as well as designs you have created.
